The investor’s plan assumes that the initial production capacity of the Brzeg factory will reach 260,000. pieces per year. However, this is not the end of the capabilities of the new plant, because by 2030 the investor plans to launch a total of eight production lines, which will increase the plant’s production capacity to over 1.2 million cores per year.

Development prospects

Initially, production from the Polish plant will provide parts for Kia and Hyundai cars, South Korean company Hyundai Motor Group. However, in the future, POSCO intends to develop cooperation also with European producers.
