Safe shipping of live bees is now possible thanks to the Pocztex service
The possibility of safe shipping of live bees is provided as part of the Pocztex service and this is the first service of this type in Poland. The procedures were designed in cooperation with the experts of the Polish Association of Bee Mother Breeders – indicated in the announcement.

Poczta Polska trains employees and creates special zones for safe transport of bees
As the post office pointed out, Sorting staff and couriers have undergone special training.Shipments are accepted from Monday to Thursday to avoid the risk of leaving them in warehouses on weekendsand in postal and dispersion nodes, special places for bee transport have been separated.

As indicated on the website, the service is addressed to individual bee breeders and companies from the beekeeping and agricultural industry; It can be used in Poland.
Special markings and care for bee breeders
Transport takes place in accordance with the Act of 21 August 1997 on animal protection and veterinary recommendations and while maintaining the principles of animal welfare – it was emphasized. The post office transports courier parcels with bee mothers and bee swarms; They have special stickers “Attention! Live insects!” – indicated. It has been added that beekeepers can count on the support of a dedicated guardian on the Polish Post.
Bees must be packed in recommended transport packaging, which ensure adequate ventilation, stability and insect protection, and the parcels can be tracked through the tracking system – the post office pointed out.
