Fuel prices on March 5
The Refleks statement shows that On March 5, the average price per liter of unleaded 95 gasoline was PLN 6.25i.e. oo 52 gr. more expensive than a week ago, a unleaded petrol 98 – PLN 6.93, i.e. by 45 gr. more. Average price per liter diesel fuel was PLN 6.99, i.e. PLN 1.01 more than a week ago, a autogas price – PLN 2.97, i.e. 19 cents more.
It will be more expensive next week
Reflex predicts next week for a liter of 95 petrol you will have to pay on average PLN 6.50, i.e. 25 cents more, a for Pb98 – PLN 7.20, i.e. 27 gr. more. Per liter diesel oil we will pay PLN 7.55, cthey lived by 56 cents. more, and per liter LPG – PLN 3.19 (22 gr. more).
Prices on world stock exchanges
Refleks analysts reminded that the first week after the outbreak of the war in the Middle East is ending on the stock exchanges, when tankers with crude oil, petroleum products and LNG have not passed through the Strait of Hormuz for several days. They emphasized that during the period from February 27 to March 5, the price of a barrel of Brent crude oil on the ICE exchange increased by 18%. In the same period the price of gasoline on the European market ARA (Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp) increased by 19%., diesel by 48 percentand aviation fuel by 76%.
Diesel prices are rising the fastest in wholesale
The wholesale price of diesel in Orlen increased by PLN 1.37/l and Pb95 petrol by PLN 0.54/l.
“The scale of increases on the wholesale market in such a short time, combined with increased sales, leaves no room for station owners to keep prices unchanged. Therefore, during the week, the average price of diesel increased by PLN 1.01/l and Pb95 petrol by PLN 0.52/l and this is it the largest weekly increase in diesel prices since the beginning of March 2022, that is, since Russia’s attack on Ukraine. Autogas, in turn, increased in price from PLN 0.19/l to PLN 2.97/l during the week,” the analysts emphasized.
