ZUS is launching intervention benefits for entrepreneurs affected by the flood
As Dąbrówka emphasized, the role of this benefit is to support continued business activity. –The benefit is intended for entrepreneurs running a business as of September 16, 2024. It is addressed to both natural persons running a business, including partners in civil partnerships, legal persons, and organizational units that are not legal persons and which are granted legal capacity by a separate act. – explained Dąbrówka.
He emphasized that the intervention benefit will be granted after submitting an RSI application prepared by ZUS – “For an intervention benefit intended to support the continuation of business activity for an entrepreneur injured by a flood”.
How to apply for benefits?
The application can be submitted electronically (ZUS Electronic Services Platform/eZUS) in the form of a general POG letter, which must be accompanied by an application for an intervention benefit. The necessary documents can also be submitted in paper form at any ZUS branch or mobile point. The application in the form of an interactive form will be available at www.zus.pl.
– Entrepreneurs without access to the Internet or who need support in completing the application will be able to use the help of ZUS employees at any branch.including at the Plant’s mobile points – said Dąbrówka.
He added that the benefit is due, in principle in the amount indicated by the entrepreneur in the application.
The entrepreneur will receive them after meeting the conditions: if, as a direct result of the flood, he suffered material damage that prevented him from continuing his business, if he undertakes to run a business for at least 6 months from the date of receiving the intervention benefit and if he undertakes to maintain the level of employment for 6 months from September 16, 2024.
