Transform lives in Tanzania

Our volunteer experience will focus on supporting the operation of the foundation Enjivai Orphanagea rural school for orphaned children living in precarious conditions in Arusha, Tanzania.

According to the service and impact philosophy in the society of ASUA, we will work simultaneously on two support activities; During the mornings, we will focus on implementing an educational plan for improve your learning and Personal development; Later, in the afternoon, we will restore the orphanage's playground and participate in a carpentry and painting workshop to build benches and games for the children.

Thus, we will seek to provide a space worthy of recreation and coexistence for all the children of Enjivai, home of Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain on the entire African continent, and the perfect place to raise our spirit of solidarity.

During the last days of volunteering, we will organize a gathering for all the children, in which we will say goodbye, thanking them for the time we spent with them and we will show them their new playground.

Explore the natural and cultural beauty of Tanzania

The travel adventure begins with a walk through the Kilimanjaro Natural Park until you reach the impressive Mamborí waterfalls. We will enjoy a moment of connection with nature and our companions, and we will be able to learn more about the environment of this beautiful country.

Our adventure continues the next day with a guided tour of a giraffe sanctuary. There, we can meet the tallest animal in the world and learn about the sanctuary's practices, focused on protecting giraffes that have been rescued from illegal hunting areas.

The end of our experience in Tanzania is approaching. After concluding with the volunteer activities, we will dedicate two days to visit the Serengeti National Park safarinamed as Heritage of humanity by unesco and home to thousands of different species of lions, elephants, rhinos, birds, and many more.

Finally, we will have the privilege of meeting the Hadzabe people, a resident ethnic group of the Serengeti plains and one of the last communities to maintain hunting and gathering as their primary means of subsistence. By listening to their perspective on the world and discovering their traditions, we remember the importance of diversity and the multicultural exchange that are fundamental for the comprehensive training of our students.
