He indicates that the situation in its industry is greatly influenced by events with a global scale and among the factors affecting the energy sector mention, among others Relations between the European Union and the United States.
Climate policy difficult to change
When asked about the Polish and European context, dr Adam Sikorski refers to the communicated changes in the European Union’s approach to climate policy. At the same time, he estimates that for now the change has occurred in a verbal rather than real dimension.
– Something that has been developed over the last 20 years cannot be changed within a few months. Of course, rhetoric is different, we hear about the need for change. However, if we were to indicate the physical changes that have occurred, e.g. a change in the ETS system, i.e. carbon dioxide emissions, then nothing has happened physically – indicates Dr. Adam Sikorski.
Optimism on the WSE
When asked about how investors react to the stock exchange in this area, the president of Unimot makes a positive diagnosis.
– Investors generally react positively. We have record ratings on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Optimism seems to be visible. It is not easy to frighten investors. It used to be said that any negative information caused immediate sale of shares. Rather, everyone is looking for positive information and it can be seen in Unimot’s listings – indicates Dr. Adam Sikorski.
