Artificial Intelligence in Polish Companies: How Do Poles Use AI?

“The Personnel Service study shows that the use of artificial intelligence at work is not an everyday occurrence for most employees, but its use is growing. 13% of employees declare daily contact with this technology at work. The younger the employees, the more often they use modern solutions based on AI – this is declared by almost every fourth person aged 25 to 34, compared to 17 percent in the group of 35-44 years old, 13 percent among people aged 45 to 54 and only 7 percent among employees 55+ – we read in the release.

Artificial intelligence is used at work by specialists and freelancers (28 percent of responses), as well as white-collar workers and teachers (21 percent of responses). In turn, 7 percent of skilled workers use AI at work.

The spread of AI in Polish companies

“The degree of AI technology use in companies is similar to the percentage of employees who declare that they use these solutions on a daily basis. A total of 15% of people indicate that they work in a company using AI. Slightly more than half (53%) claim that their company does not have any tools based on artificial intelligence, and every third Pole does not know whether their employer has implemented technologies that use AI algorithms.” – we read further.

As Krzysztof Inglot from Personnel Service pointed out, “the high percentage of employees who do not know whether their companies use AI indicates that although this technology is developing, there are still gaps to fill and education is needed“.

In small towns (up to 20,000 inhabitants) only 9 percent of respondents see AI implementationalso given.

Robots like Figure AI are capable of performing tasks such as moving boxes on assembly lines and could fill as many as 10 million ‘undesirable or unsafe’ jobs in the United States alone. Forecasts predict that by 2030, automation will become an integral part of many industries, which will further accelerate the adoption of AI in the labor market. – added Inglot.
