Based on these tests, Consumer Reports has created a list of twelve cars that have the best chance of driving over 320 thousand. km (over 200,000 Mil), without failure.
Japanese cars are the most reliable
Japanese cars reign on the list of 12 most reliable models. The Consumer Reports study shows that Honda and Toyota models are the least emergency. Models of these two manufacturers more often than cars of other brands have large mileage without failure, but Toyota is the real dominant in this ranking. On twelve models included in the ranking, as many as eight are cars of the Japanese brand.
