What is the MIT Engineering Bootcamp?
If you are interested in studying engineering and you have come to this article, you probably already know what MIT is, but just in case it doesn’t hurt to explain it. It is about the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)one of the most recognized universities in the world for its scientific and technological training and research, which also stands out for its course programs for engineers.
Due to its academic excellence, this institution has some of the brightest students and teachers. Can you imagine taking a course with them and receiving recognition from a school of this level? In Anáhuac Querétaro all this is possible!
MIT is so important that through a program it takes its bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral students around the world to offer workshops. Mexico has a headquarters precisely for this program, through which we have an alliance.
This idea of collaboration was born because one of the directors we had to represent the engineering division in Anahuac Querétarowas a student at MIT. Now we are going for our third edition at the beginning of 2025, keep reading and find out what it will be about.
A unique experience for future engineers
The Engineering Bootcamp taught by MIT is designed to provide practical knowledge in key areas of engineering. This time, our central topic will be on manufacturing and printing with 3D design and robotics, to combine that with a mechanical and physical solution, areas in which the guest instructors are specialists.
Students will be able to learn and solve various challenges around the topic. For example, last year the course for engineers was focused on cybersecurity and the main topic was hacking an Arduino, for which programming activities were carried out, a little about electrical circuits was learned, as well as other basic aspects to intervene in a physical device.
When is the MIT Engineering Bootcamp in Anáhuac Querétaro?
We are already counting the days! Our third edition of the engineering workshop will take place from January 20 to 31, 2025to start the year with everything. We recommend you register as soon as possible and secure your place, since Registration will close on January 13.
To teach the Engineering Bootcamp, several groups are formed, the one aimed at university students will last one week and for pre-university students it will last 2 weeks. Both will be monday to thursdayand they can be in the morning or afternoon, depending on the profile of those registered.
What do you need to take the engineering workshop?
In addition to a great attitude that describes every lion of Anahuac, you will only need to bring a laptop and have a good level of English. Outside of this, we will provide you with everything you need and the materials to successfully complete the workshop right there.
Study engineering internationally
Although it is not a requirement to speak as a native of the language, having a solid foundation is important, since The MIT engineering school course is 100% in English.
