Call for female heads of households to train in entrepreneurship is open: this is how they can apply for scholarships

The program consists of the transfer of soft and technical skills essential for entrepreneurshipproviding a unique opportunity to improve the quality of life of women and their families.

Beneficiaries will have access to four free courses, each focused on key aspects for business development:

1. Soft skills course:

  • Leadership.
  • Teamwork.
  • Assertive communication.
  • Conflict resolution.

2. Entrepreneurship course:

  • Methods for developing a business idea.
  • Ideation, Canvas model, validation of the business idea and brand identity.
  • Finance for female entrepreneurs.
  • Debt, income, savings and expense management.
  • Cash flow control.

4. Online sales course:

  • Methods to boost a business on digital networks.
  • Persuasion, customer profile, advertising, planning and remarketing.

The program also offers complementary services that include emotional support, emotional well-being talks and personalized advice to strengthen business ideas, among other key topics to increase the probability of success with a particular venture.

Requirements to apply for scholarships

  • Being a female head of household, with a family income of less than two minimum monthly wages.
  • Have access to the internet and a mobile device.
  • Have WhatsApp and Facebook profile (recommended).
  • Have email.
  • Be willing to actively participate in the spaces and study virtually.
  • Wanting to be part of a community of women who support each other and seek to improve themselves.
  • Fill out the registration form.

“Women ROFÉ seeks to train women in technical and soft skills and additionally to create a support network that fosters empowerment and resilience. By providing access to business education and technological resources, The program aims to reduce the gender gap in the business world and promote economic equality in Colombia.”, the foundation highlights.

This program includes free training for female entrepreneurs who are heads of household. Initially, there will be four main courses, training workshops and wellness talks or testimonials. However, it specifies that it does not provide monetary aid or connectivity assistance. Nor does it provide the devices to access the platform.

All courses, workshops or talks as well as the services offered through the platform are virtualAt the end of the programs, certificates of attendance are awarded to those who complete the three modules of each course taken.
