Didier Stoessel, investment director at PPF Group, is a new member of the InPost Supervisory Board. The Czech PPF group recently increased its shares in the company founded by Rafał Brzozka courier company to approximately 28.75 percent

An extraordinary general meeting of shareholders was held on Thursday in Luxembourg InPostwhere Stoessel was elected to a 4-year term.

In an interview with us, Stoessel emphasized the importance of this nomination and also indicated possible options synergy effectswhich will benefit both entities – PFF and InPost.

“PPF’s investment strategy includes leveraging our expertise in key industry pillars, one of which is the European e-commerce sector, and seeking opportunities to create value in Western European markets. InPost perfectly meets both of these goals,” new Supervisory Board member Didier Stoessel told Forsal.

InPost is a delivery platform for e-commerce sector. The company, founded in 1999 by Rafał Brzoska, manages a network of parcel lockers in Poland, Great Britain and Italy. In July 2021, it finalized the acquisition of the French company Mondial Relay, and in January 2021 it made its debut on the Euronext stock exchange in Amsterdam.

The PPF Group operates in 25 countries, investing in sectors such as financial services, telecommunications, media, e-commerce, real estate, biotechnology and transport. The geographical scope of the group covers Europe, North America, Asia and Africa. It has assets worth EUR 43.5 billion and employs 52,000. employees around the world.
