Maximum energy prices in 2024 – you need to complete the formalities
Energy prices have aroused emotions for many months. The rulers try to alleviate the effects of their growth by introducing the regulations freely directed to specific groups of recipients. One of such groups are small and medium -sized enterprises. They were to have time until the end of February to make a statement regarding public aid granted to them and de minimis. What for? In 2024 they could use the maximum energy priceswhich is for small and medium -sized enterprises de minimis aid, de minimis aid in agriculture or de minimis aid in fisheries, and for micro -entrepreneurs public aid. This means that in order to use it, they must meet the appropriate conditions, in this, they could not exceed the limit of this assistance. In order to assess their situation, it is therefore necessary to make an appropriate statement. In the event of failure to comply with this obligation, it will be necessary to make subsidies resulting from the difference between the maximum price of energy and the price resulting from the contract connecting the entrepreneur with the supplier. What’s more, interest will also have to be paid from this difference. The time to make a statement was to end on February 28, but as it turns out, the Ministry of Climate and Environment is working on its extension until mid -year.
Cheaper electricity only with this statement – there will be subsidies without it
What data should be provided in the statementwhich has 7 pages? Of course, its first part is the recipient’s identification data, including determining the size of the entity. Part II of the statement is intended for micro -entrepreneurs, part III for small and medium -sized enterprises, and Part IV is the relevant statements. In the appropriate part for a given entity, it should be indicated whether he has already obtained help (public or de minimis), and if so, what was its value.
The statement can be made electronically, with a qualified electronic signature, trusted signature (EPUAP signature) or a personal signature confirmed by your ID card with an electronic layer (Edhod). However, it is also permissible to submit it in a paper version with a own signature. Importantly, information about the value of assistance in connection with the application of maximum energy prices will be provided by the recipient with energy supplier after the final settlement. This certificate is not needed to complete and submit the statement in question.
Applicable public aid limits and de minimis
We would like to remind you that the de minimis aid limit within 3 years is for a small and medium -sized enterprise:
– 300 thousand euro for enterprises;
– 50 thousand euro for enterprises in the agricultural sector;
– 30 thousand euro for enterprises in the fisheries and aquaculture sector.
In turn, the public aid limit is:
– 200 thousand euro. for micro -enterprises,
– 25,000 euro for micro -enterprises operating in the field of basic agricultural products,
– 30 thousand euro for micro -enterprises operating in fisheries and aquaculture sectors.
