Registration statistics clearly show that currently the share of new cars in registration is growing in Poland. In the first quarter of 2024, purchases of new cars made by individual customers accounted for 29 percent. market, while In the first three months of this year, this percentage increased to 36 percent.

Poles are convinced by Chinese cars

Only a few years ago Chinese cars were rare on Polish roads. Today, the situation is completely different. Chinese brands are stormed by the Polish market, and according to the president of Superauto.pl, they are behind the rapid increase in the participation of new cars in the total number of registration. The perception of Chinese products, which were once thought to be cheesy and unstable, has also changed. Currently producers from China offers cars refined in terms of style and technology, while attractive at the same time.

“In the first quarter of this year, private buyers bought almost 5,000 more new cars than a year ago. For 80 percent of this increase, cars from China are responsible for this increase,” emphasizes the president of Superauto.pl.

In the first quarter of 2025, the British, and now the Chinese MG brand, which belongs to the Chinese Saic Motor group, was the most popular. From the beginning of the year to the end of March, natural persons bought almost 1,900 passenger cars of this brand. The second most -bought Chinese brand was omoda (758 cars), and the next ones are Baic and Jaecco. Why do Poles choose Chinese cars?

Other reasons why Chinese brands are becoming more and more popular among customers are:
