Polish entrepreneurs will not leave Ukraine and together we will defeat the Russian aggressor – emphasized the presidents of PUIG. Thanks to better and close cooperation with the Polish arms, Ukraine is becoming a stronger state – both presidents emphasized. – We can count on the fact that the war will end when Ukraine is strong in a military sense. Poles showed a good initiative here Volodymyr Lytvyn noted. He pointed to cooperation with arms companies that offered production in Poland so that it would not be the target of Russian attacks.
– Unfortunately, we can’t count on Americans anymore. However, we can count on Europeans and Poles here show priority in all kinds of initiatives for the support of Ukraine, for which we are always very grateful. We hope that our forum, during which we talk a lot not only about values and ideas, but also about specifics, this cooperation will gain momentum and in its effect Ukraine will become a stronger state – said Volodymyr Lytvyn.
Poland plays a special role in Ukraine – argued Jacek Piechota.
– Undoubtedly, President Trump has already reached one thing: he woke Europe, woke up the European Union and politicians, the European Union leaders began to talk completely differently about the role of the EU in defense of Ukraine, in activities for its reconstruction, and Poland in all this has to play and plays a strategic role to play and plays a strategic role – said Jacek Piechota.
– The significant presence of Polish entrepreneurs in Ukraine is not to be overestimated. Even before the war, they invested nearly EUR 600 million in Ukraine according to various estimates. Today, this value of cumulative investments is nearly 800 million, so even during the war, Polish companies did not leave Ukraine, on the contrary, they also invested – he noted.
During the war, Polish entrepreneurs founded nearly 300 capital companies in Ukraine, which gives our country third place among investors – by Germany, Great Britain or the USA. This is a good abutment to participate in Polish business in the reconstruction and modernization of Ukraine, especially since Poland has a fresh and very valuable experience gained from integration with the system of law and values, but also standards of functioning and cooperation of business within the EU. The real involvement of Polish entrepreneurs is described by the PUIG report entitled: “Investments of the full -time war time. In the footsteps of Polish Solidarity.”
