Deregulation team

On Monday Deregulation team led by Rafał Brzoski He published the first proposals for legal changes to improve the functioning of Polish companies. Among the postulates were, among others Increasing the number of general interpretations issued by the Minister of Finance, changes in the requirements of ESG reporting, limiting the abuse of tax offices, including a reduction in the number of tax disputes, not punishing for undeniable mistakes and mistakes, limiting the use of VAT penalties, as well as less aggressive practice of bailiff enforcement and the use of potential artificial intelligence.

“I appreciate the enormity of work, which was performed by Rafał Brzoski in a few days, because every initiative whose goal is to shake the clerical reality shaped for years, is right and needed” – said Professor Romanowski.

He noticed that this was another attempt to verify the regulations so that they were more friendly to entrepreneurs. He reminded, among others The 2018 Business Constitution, which consisted of a package of five laws and declared – as he said – compliance with several rules: freedom of business or “what is not prohibited is allowed”.

The principle of presumption of the integrity of the entrepreneur

Romanowski emphasized that these principles are a derivative of human freedom and are to lead to the abstract of the state from interfering in the zone of economic reality. In addition – he added – the Constitution introduced the principle of presumption of the entrepreneur’s honesty. “Unfortunately, these rules are not properly used by the administration,” he said.

In his opinion, this is the effect of the authority recorded over the years of thinking, who looks at the entrepreneur as a person who is a potential criminal. “Individual ruling teams multiply bans, orders, manage inspections and impose sanctions that often prevent companies from functioning and bankruptcy” – he justified.

According to him, with such an attitude of administration, no subsequent deregulation package is reported even in the best faith, nothing will help. “The condition for effective deregulation is to change the thinking of officials so that they stop treating entrepreneurs as suspicious people,” he pointed out. “I would like to believe that the package prepared by the Brzoski team will be such a contribution to this mental revolution of people establishing and applying the law,” he added.

Politicians are fighting for electoral votes among entrepreneurs

Romanowski pointed out that we currently have a pre -election period, in which each political group wants to acquire the largest electorate as possible, “and entrepreneurs are undoubtedly such an electorate.” The expert expressed the hope that after the end of the election struggle, politicians will not forget immediately, once again, that the entrepreneur is not only an economic entity, but someone who, by its actions, contributes to increasing the revenues of the state budget, which he can spend on various important social and economic matters .

Donald Tusk’s proposal for Rafał Brzoska

On Monday, February 10 this year. during the “Poland. A breakthrough year” conference Prime Minister Donald Tusk offered Rafał Brzosce Creating a team that will quickly prepare deregulation proposals.

Brzoska is an entrepreneur, founder and president of InPost, which offers logistics solutions for the e-commerce industry. The company has, among others network over 66 thousand Points where you can send or pick up a package.

The Ministry of Development and Technology is working on the deregulation package; From January last year At the MRIT, there is a deregulation representative, which is to provide support in activities related to deregulation in the area of economic law and in conducting economic dialogue.

Business Constitution of 2018 This is a reform of economic law, which aimed to improve the legal and institutional environment in which Polish entrepreneurs operate. This is a package of five laws, which were primarily to help build partner relations between entrepreneurs and officials and facilitate the establishment and running of a company in Poland. (PAP)
