The funds come from the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy for 2023-2027. The application period runs from 27 June to 2 August. The Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture is responsible for administering the financial support. Who is entitled to receive funding?
Who can get funding to fight ASF?
They will be able to benefit from the support farmers who meet the following conditions:
- own the property at least from the date of submission of the application for assistance;
- conduct the following registered therein: – breeding or raising of at least 50 pigs or – breeding or raising of at least 27 pigs using organic methods or – breeding of pigs of native breeds or purebred pigs;
- be at least 18 years old on the day of submitting the application for assistance (natural persons);
- be assigned an identification number in the manufacturers’ records.
What can you get funding for?
It is worth knowing what scope of investment the program can cover. Here are the eligible investments:
- making a fence;
- creating or modernizing a disinfection basin;
- equipping the farm with a disinfection device or building or rebuilding a warehouse for storing straw for pigs;
- installing a silo for ready-made feed or grain intended for feed and ensuring that pigs are kept separately from other animals.
Maximum amount of funding
Maximum amount of funding throughout the entire period of program implementation amounts to PLN 100,000. The aid is provided in the form of a refund of 80% of eligible costs or – in the case of investments related to the construction of a fence – 80% of the flat-rate rates, which are as follows:
- PLN 330 per linear meter of fencing;
- PLN 2,960 for one gate;
- PLN 1,000 for one gate.
Up to 10% of the investment may constitute so-called overhead costs.
How to apply?
Applications for assistance can be submitted exclusively electronically using the Agency’s IT system, through the ARiMR Electronic Services Platform (PUE).
