In the opinion of entrepreneurs, the economic crisis and high production costs mean that the attractiveness of Germany as a place to run a business is getting smaller. That is why German companies are increasingly inclined to transfer production to another country.
Deutsche Welle reminds that in a survey conducted at the beginning of the year by the KPMG audit company and the Eastern Commission of the German economy, 22 percent companies admitted that she was considering transferring production to Central and Eastern European countries. The main directions of potential move are Poland or Romania. Definitely the most, as much as 51 percent enterprises want to move to Poland. Romania, as the purpose of transferring production, was indicated by 43 percent. respondents.

Knorr is not the first company that loudly talks about the transfer of production to Poland. A similar plan has recently been announced by Miele, a household appliance manufacturer. The German newspaper “Sueddeutsche Zeitung” writes about the situation of this company on Thursday.
The newspaper said that by the end of 2027, most of the final assembly of Miele washing machines is to take place at the plant in Łódź, and not, as before, in Guepersloh.
