From March 11, 2025, the rates for the journeys with paid sections of the Wielkopolska Motorway on the Nowy Tomyśl – Konin route have changed – the company Wielkopolska informed in the communiqué.
Reasons for increases
The company explains increases in the intensification of activities related to investments that are crucial for road safety and transport development. As the company explains, investment expenditure, debt service and constantly growing maintenance costs determine the increase in operating costs.
“The growing outlays on investments, service of financial liabilities and an increase in the costs of ongoing maintenance affect the increase in operating costs of the company. An additional burden is the persistent increase in inflation, high interest rates and an increase in the amount of average salary in the economy, which directly translate into the costs of financing projects and maintenance of the highway” – reads in the message.
Changing the rates of fees to A2 from March 11, 2025
Changing the rates of fees for 150 km with a concession section of the A2 motorway will be introduced on March 11, 2025. A new tariff for the passage of each of the three 50 km of highway sections between Nowy Tomyśl and Koninwill apply from 6.00 in the morning:
- PLN 18 – Corner. 6 (motorcycles) 50 % discount Prices for Cat. 1,
- PLN 36 – Corner. 1 (passenger vehicles with two axles),
- PLN 60 – Corner. 2 (car vehicles with two axles, of which at least one is equipped with twin wheels as well as motorcycles and car vehicles with two axles with trailers),,
- PLN 92 – Corner. 3 (three axles car vehicles and car vehicles with two axles, of which at least one is equipped with twin wheels with trailers),
- PLN 138 – Corner. 4 (car vehicles with more than three axles and car vehicles with three axles with trailers),
- 360 PLN – Corner. 5 (oversized vehicles).
The cost of travel on the A2 route to Episode Świecko – Nowy Tomyśl remains unchanged.
