The dream of many people is to be able to enter higher education, in order to improve their work options and quality of life. That is why the Pontifical Javeriana University launched a 100 % scholarship program for young people in the country. This entity has a trajectory of about 400 years and is one of the most representative institutions at the educational level of the Nation, with headquarters in Bogotá and Cali.
The University, in alliance with the Presidential Ministry for National Reconciliation, launched a special call directed for young people between 18 and 28 years of age. According to the information handled by the entity, a total of 50 scholarships will be delivered to 100 % to participate in the “Transforming Dialogue and Youth Participation” course, which will be carried out in the cities of Bogotá, Medellín and Buenaventura.
The purpose of this course is to deliver key tools so that the new generations of Colombians become active actors in politics and the construction of peace in Colombia, promoting the participation of citizenship in reconciliation scenarios.
The University explained that the people who access this program will have the opportunity to train with experts of peace, human and political rights, these specialists will provide a space for learning and reflection on the role that young people fulfill in the development of the country. To do this, different practical methodologies and strategic discussions will be addressed.

The Javeriana University indicated that the registrations are open until February 14, 2025. The people who are interested must carry out an online form and meet these requirements.
- Be between 18 and 28 years old.
- Reside in Colombia.
- Demonstrate interest in leadership, politics and reconciliation.
- Attend the face -to -face sessions in Bogotá, Medellín or Buenaventura.
- Have availability to participate in the course during February (the exact dates will be confirmed).
These are the data that has to take into account to register the scholarship:
- Full name.
- Age.
- Type and identification document number.
- Gender.
- City of residence.
- Level of schooling.
- Information on youth organization or community process to which it belongs (if applied).
Once the course is over, students will receive an official certificate from the Javeriana University.
