The Management Board of Grupa Azoty announced on Tuesday the resignation of Krzysztof Kołodziejczyk from the position of member of the company’s supervisory board as of the end of February 13, 2024. Krzysztof Kołodziejczyk did not provide the reason for his resignation in the statement sent, it was noted.
Appointed on January 31, 2024
January 31 this year the management board of Grupa Azoty announced that it had received the declaration of the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of State Assets, the plenipotentiary of the Minister of State Assets, of January 31, 2024, on the appointment of Krzysztof Andrzej Kołodziejczyk to the company’s supervisory board.
The attached biographical note states that Kołodziejczyk obtained a master’s degree in economics at the Faculty of Transport and Communications of the University of Szczecin, majoring in Economics.
It was added that he was, among others, member of the management board and financial director at Metrum Cryoflex, president of Sices Polska, member of the management board of Mostostal Siedlce, financial director of Polimex-Mostostal, member of the management committee of SC Uzinele Sodice Govora – Ciech Chemical Group, treasurer at Ciech. In the years 2006-2020, he was a member and chairman of the supervisory boards of the following companies: Radpol, Soda Polska Ciech, PRINŻ-1 (Polimex-Mostostal Group) and others.
Next Wednesday this year. an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of Grupa Azoty will be held, which will include, among others: make changes to the composition of the Grupa Azoty Supervisory Board.
Grupa Azoty states that it is one of the “key” capital groups in the fertilizer and chemical industry in Europe. It ranks second in the European Union in the production of nitrogen and compound fertilizers. Grupa Azoty is the only melamine producer in Poland. It also produces products such as polyamide, OXO alcohols, plasticizers and titanium white.
