The supervisory board of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) appointed Krzysztof Trofiniak as president of the management board as of March 25 this year, the company announced.
Krzysztof Trofiniak is a manager with many years of experience in the arms and heavy industry and an expert in the development and production of weapons technology. In 2014-2015 he served as a member of the management board PGZwhere he was responsible for supervising research and development, production and commercial work, as well as cooperation in the area of barrel and rocket artillery, anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense, as well as ammunition and rockets.
From the beginning of his professional career he was associated with Huta Stalowa Wola and Research and Development Center for Earth and Transport Machines. In the years 2008-2015 he served as president and general director of HSW, previously he was a member of the management board – commercial director, head of the Technical Production Preparation Office at HSW, head of the Technical Production Preparation Office and director of production and technology at HSW-Trading. He also worked at the Research and Development Center for Earth and Transport Machines in Stalowa Wola, serving as deputy director, director for structure development, chief designer and specialist technologist. From 2017, he served as president of the management board and chief executive officer Lubaczów Machine Factorymentioned in the material.
Trofiniak is a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology and postgraduate studies at the University of Economics in Krakow, majoring in Economics and Business Management.
