The demand for professionals in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (Stem) continues to increase globally. Colombia occupies the 17th position in the ranking of countries with more students in the US universities, according to the Open Doors report of the Institute of International Education (IIE), in collaboration with the Office of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the US Department of State Department of the US, each year, more Colombian students are concerned with improving their level of English in search of academic opportunities in the United States. For them, the Stem Tour 2025 Educational Fair was designed, an opportunity to access world -class programs, academic opportunities and admission advice in pregnant, masters and doctorates.
“The term Stem in English groups the fields of study of Science (science), Technology (technology), Engineering (engineering) and Mathematics (mathematics). Since 2017 we have brought Colombia to representatives from 160 universities in the United States who have shown, more than 6,500 Colombian undergraduate and postgraduate students, the academic offer of Stem races. If they are in Medellín, Bogotá and Barranquilla, the Stem Tour 2025 cannot be lost, ”says Samuel Reales, director of the Educationusa Center in Bogotá.
This is not only a gateway to higher education in the United States, but also a window to the future work, considering that Stem careers are highly demanded and offer wide professional development opportunities.
During the tour, attendees will have the opportunity to:
Interact directly with representatives of American universities and resolve doubts about academic programs and admission requirements.
Obtain detailed information on studies financing options with Fulbright and Colfuturo, as well as student visa processes.
Participate in talks and workshops that will address topics such as preparation for standard English exams and strategies to highlight in the application process.

The Stem Tour 2025 will be in three cities: Medellín (Monday, March 10, Panamerican Cultural and Business Center, Carrera 43a # 6 Sur – 150, El Poblado, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm); Bogotá (Wednesday, March 12, Modern Gym, Carrera 9 # 74 – 99 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm) and Barranquilla (Saturday, March 15, Simón Bolívar University, Carrera 59 # 54 – 74 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm).
