“We cannot minimize or ridicule what is happening today in the country, It is absolutely serious the announcement made by President Petro, ”he said.
The congresswoman recalled that there are several sectors that have ruled, including jurist experts, warning that this can represent a real danger to Colombia.
“This clearly ends the weights and counterweights and the separation of powers. Not only does Congress skip, but when taking out the decree knowing that there is already a negative concept, the courts are being jumping, ”he said.
In that sense, he explained that the path to which the highest president had to resort to and his government went to a lawsuit before the State Council to pronounce on the legality of the concept that the Senate delivered and that today is being unknown.
Not doing so, Miranda said, is not complying with what is established by law, which from its vision represents a danger to the social state of law.

The representative described this fact as “extremely serious” and made it clear that you cannot disguise other things, as the president intends. “It is a valid mechanism of the Constitution, but it has clear rules that Petro is ignoring,” said.
For this reason, he confessed that the true fear he feels, beyond what is happening at the moment, is that all this can open the door, according to her, to a possible constituent.
“My anguish and my danger is that we can be at all of a possible constituent decreed by President Gustavo Petro, Believing that the State is him and that he is the one who represents the people, ”he said.
Miranda recalled that more than 13 million Colombians voted at the time to choose Congress and, therefore, the legislative branch is also a citizens representative.
“We also have the legitimacy in decision making, or not, President Petro,” he concluded.
