Raising taxes
Three quarters of entrepreneurs expect that difficult financial situation will force the government to tax increases and various fees, 21% of companies believe that the government will not raise taxes, and 4% have no opinion on this matter, according to a July survey commissioned by the Lewiatan Confederation.
Small companies (76%) are the most convinced that the government will increase taxes. 74% of large companies and 72% of medium-sized companies share this view.
Reduction of health insurance premiums
The survey also shows that 75% of companies believe that this year there will be no reduction in health insurance premiums22% of entrepreneurs claim that it will be possible, while 3% did not comment on this topic. They do not believe in reducing the health insurance contribution, especially large companies (86%), but also small (74%) and medium-sized (73%).
Is the government supporting businesses more?
“Almost two-thirds of entrepreneurs (65%) declare that the actions of the current government are not more friendly to companies. 33% have the opposite opinion, and 2% had no opinion on this matter. The government’s actions are assessed as less friendly to business by 70% of large companies, 65% of small companies and 61% of medium-sized companies,” we read in the release.
Search for employees
In addition, 62% of entrepreneurs predict that problems related to finding new employees will intensify in the coming year. 38% do not see such a threat. 62% of small companies, 60% of medium-sized companies and 58% of large companies are convinced of problems with finding new employees, it was also reported.
The cyclical survey of entrepreneurs’ moods, “Indeks Biznesu”, was conducted in July this year, on a representative sample of entrepreneurs, by CBM Indicator, commissioned by the Lewiatan Confederation.
