Who was behind the cyberattack on KSeF?

What is important is that the Trusted Profile works smoothly. More and more people log in to KSeF – added Domański.

What is the KSeF system?

KSeF is used to issue, send and store invoices issued by entrepreneurs to other entrepreneurs. The system was launched on February 1 and initially covers only companies whose turnover in 2024 exceeded PLN 200 million.

The day after KSeF was launched, on February 2, there were reports of problems with logging into the system via the Trusted Profile (PZ). The Ministry of Digitization informed on social media that due to the great interest in KSeF, there may be problems with logging in to public services via PZ and advised to choose other forms of logging in. On the same day, Deputy Minister of Digitization Dariusz Standerski said during a meeting with journalists that the Ministry of Finance limited the possibility of logging in to KSeF so that you could log in only once a minute to reduce the system’s load.

Problems logging in to the Trusted Profile – and through it to KSeF – ended on the same day, as announced by the Ministry of Finance. At the same time, the Ministry of Finance emphasized that despite problems with the PZ, the KSeF itself operated stably.

In the following days, there were no reports of any major problems with logging in to the system.

Another important date for KSeF – April 1

The next stage of KSeF development will start on April 1. Then it will cover companies that issue invoices monthly to other companies with a value exceeding PLN 10,000. PLN per month.

In the third stage, which will start on January 1, 2027, KSeF will also include entities whose monthly value of invoices to other entrepreneurs is less than PLN 10,000. zloty.

By the end of this year it will be possible to exhibit the so-called. simplified invoices in the form of receiptsi.e. receipts in which the seller has included the buyer’s Tax Identification Number and whose value does not exceed PLN 450 or EUR 100. Also in the case of paper invoices issued using electronic cash registers, a transitional period has been maintained, which ends in 2026.
