The act regulating this issue was adopted by the Council of Ministers and sent to the legislative path to parliament. It brings a significant change for companies, it also means a great facilitation for contracting authorities.
Certificates will facilitate the process
– In a nutshell, the certification of entities is the qualification of contractors or suppliers for a specific public contract. It means a photo from the shoulders of tender organizers, the need to check contractors with each proceeding. I think this will accelerate the public procurement process and is a very good solution for contractors and ordering entities – says Wojciech Trojanowski.
For a company starting in the tender, it is above all less work to do, the way of competing for contracts will also change.
– We are not afraid of competition for facts, but it seems that individual proceedings were often spoiled by companies that wanted to appear in a given procedure for all the cell, which extended this process unnecessarily – emphasizes the representative of Strabag.
He adds that certification seems necessary to accelerate the public procurement process and make it more transparent.
Improving the situation on the construction market
Answering the question whether there is a lack of employees in the industry who are to build, when tenders for financial investments from KPO, Wojciech Trojanowski, stated that the last two years were not a good period for the construction industry in Poland.
– Construction and assembly production decreased for several reasons: breaks in EU financing, lack of KPO, high interest rates, low level of private investment, political changes that always cause a gap in investments. These two years did not really spoil employees, small, medium and large companies. This year, we expect an improvement in the economic situation somewhere from the third, fourth quarter – said a member of the board of Strabag.
