Reliefs for companies affected by flooding
“We understand that due to the flood, some entrepreneurs may have problems with financial liquidity. That is why we would like to remind you about the reliefs that you can apply for first,” said ZUS spokesman Paweł Żebrowski.
As he pointed out, Concluding an agreement with ZUS brings a number of benefits, among other things, no interest is charged on contributions covered by the relief, instead a prolongation fee is charged. In addition, an entrepreneur who pays installments on time and in the agreed amount and settles current contributions may obtain a certificate of no arrears in payment of contributions, which is needed, among other things, in tender procedures.
Applications to ZUS
The ZUS spokesman reminded that an application for deferment of the payment deadline or payment of the debt in installments can be submitted electronically via the PUE ZUS profileby mail, or in person at a ZUS office. The scope of documents that must be attached to the application is always determined individually and depends on the type of business activity and form of taxation. The entrepreneur can also use the help of an advisor on reliefs and write-offs at selected ZUS offices, and the employees of the customer service room will also help him – noted Żebrowski.
“We also encourage you to handle ZUS matters without leaving your home: during an e-visit via the ZUS Electronic Services Platform, by phone via the ZUS Customer Contact Centre at 22 560 16 00 from Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.,” added the ZUS spokesman. (PAP)
