As the RMF FM radio found out, the government will wait with the presentation and commencement of this law until June, when it is after the presidential election.
The amount about which the fees are to increase have not yet been disclosed, but RMF FM learned that at the beginning the amount of the increase will be in the order of 20-30 percent, which means that after the introduction Changes will cost a maximum of about PLN 130.
This is much less than the staff of diagnostic stations demanded. The media reports showed that Diagnosis demands an amount of PLN 250, which means an increase in the price of a periodic examination of the car by about 150 percent. According to RMF FM findings, such a drastic increase is not being considered.
Valorisation of the rate for periodic examinations
The station also stated that the legislator provides annual valorization of the rate, which will be based, among others, based on the inflation rate and the average salary on the farm. The valorized rate for annual technical examinations of vehicles will most likely come into force at the beginning of the calendar year and will apply for 12 months.
Driver bonus for early testing
The legislator also provides for encouragement for drivers for not waiting for the test until the last moment and will appear to the diagnostic station before the deadline. If the driver does not delay and focus on examining earlier than it results from the expiry date of recent tests, bAdan for the next year can be extended by one month, i.e. up to 13 months.
Over 20 years the same price for the technical examination of the car
Among the employees of the diagnostic stations, the rates for the performance of periodic technical examinations of vehicles have long ignited emotions. The owners of the vehicle and diagnosis of car inspection station have long been appealing for increases in fees, arguing that the last price increase was in 2004, i.e. over 20 years ago. During this period, the prices of everything, including energy prices, increased significantly, which significantly increases the costs of running the station.
