“We are looking for solutions. Firstly, market prices are falling because the so-called CO2 emission fees From energy produced from coal. So there is room to go further price reductions of the so-called energy tariffs. And we will also talk about it tomorrow at the ministry. We are meeting with all important ministries,” announced the head of the Ministry of Climate.
She added that the meeting is to be attended by, among others, Head of the Ministry of Finance Andrzej Domańskiand President of the Energy Regulatory Office, Rafał Gawin.
New decisions regarding energy prices
“We have completed the stage of work and proposals within the ministry. Now we need to determine it at the government level,” she said. She added that the ministry has various solutions. “There are also solutions to go further freeze prices and gradually leave these frozen prices so that it is acceptable for the economy and citizens, e.g. by increasing the price by 15%. e.g. in the second half of the year, which would be affordable for farms,” she explained. She noted that “it absolutely must be a protective program for the poorest people“.

Windmills are back in play
