The Colombian Institute for the Evaluation of Education (Icfes) published this Friday, November 1, the results of the more than 600,000 calendar A students who took the Saber 11 tests required by the State on August 18. This is one of the most important exams for students throughout their school career.
These results can be seen through the portal of the aforementioned institution, a very important step, since these data, in addition to being fundamental for the future of young people, also They serve as indicators of the quality of education provided in the country and function as an inspection of the public educational service.
Among other aspects of utmost importance, these results can help students access scholarships, higher education programs, universities and even obtain financial support to be able to continue studying in the careers that each one likes.

The best score

According to Icfes, this year the average global score increased by 2 points compared to 2023. “This result is explained by the increase in the Mathematics (1 point) and Natural Sciences (1 point) tests, while the rest of the tests did not present a variation,” indicated the institution.

The acceptable average in recent years is between 250 and 300 points, so obtaining a lower score could mean the impossibility of entering different academic centers in the country.
