– The Forum’s slogan is a conversation about people and with the participation of people who can see challenges, opportunities and threats. The time has come for new leaders, who are people from public administration, managers in corporations, in Poland, in Western countries or in the United States. And “together” means within the Western world – explained Zygmunt Berdychowski, chairman of the Program Council and creator of the Economic Forum.
As he pointed out in an interview with Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, this year’s edition of the Forum is about discussing, among other things, what has become the biggest challenge for the Western world now – apart from geopolitics – i.e. artificial intelligence. The organizers dedicated a significant part of the program to this issue.
The AI Forum organized by the Institute of Eastern Studies together with the Ministry of Digital Affairs and the largest universities in Poland will take place in Karpacz. Its participants will focus on, among other things, the changes that are taking place in society, public services and the commercial sector due to artificial intelligence. The problems and challenges that the market will face in connection with the fundamental technological change that the use of artificial intelligence will bring will also be discussed.
Another issue that the Forum guests will focus on is the competitiveness of the European Union in the face of the AI revolution.
During this year’s Economic Forum, the organizers have planned 6 plenary sessions and around 350 debates within several thematic tracks. These include Investments, Sustainable Development, International Policy and Security, and the Forum of Regions.
The “SGH and Economic Forum Report 2024” will also be presented in Karpacz, a scientific study on the state of the economy in Poland and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. The publication was prepared by experts from a leading university in the country. – Warsaw School of Economics – describes current trends and socio-economic phenomena, enabling leaders of various areas to make the most important decisions.
