Slovak export of cars to the USA
SME recalls statistics according to which in 2024 Slovak export companies amounted to EUR 107 billion, of which 4.11 billion went to the USA. That’s about 3.8 percent the whole, and at the same time a size comparable to the value of exports to Italy, France or Great Britain.
The newspaper emphasized that cars constitute 87 percent. exports to the USA and no other European country is as dependent on the export of cars to the USA as Slovakia. Its value is 2.5 percent. GDP, at the EU average about 0.3 percent.
Volkswagen plants particularly vulnerable
