“The acquisition of the Semergy Group is of breakthrough importance for the development of the WeNet Group. After this transaction, in 2024 we will achieve revenues of approximately PLN 400 million and EBITDA of over PLN 80 million. The consent to the transaction covers the brands previously belonging to the Semergy Group, i.e. Sunrise Systems, Artefakt, Widzialni.pl, Semahead and Grupa TENSE, which specialize in providing innovative, comprehensive solutions in the area of internet marketing. They provide a number of services complementary to the WeNet Group offer, such as search engine optimization (SEO), pay per click (PPC) services, content marketing, web analytics and social media support. Digital marketing services offered by the Companies are dedicated to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) throughout Poland.
The transaction means that WeNet Group will gain not only a unique portfolio of products and customers, but will also strengthen its leadership position in all key business lines: creating and positioning websites, implementing dedicated advertising campaigns, local marketing and SEO activities, as well as creating e-shops and website hosting.
WeNet Group SA consistently invests in innovative business solutions based on a proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) model. Currently, the company is working to reach customers in the United States by promoting unique AI solutions, including: WebWave AI Builder™ tool to create websites in 3 minutes. The company employs over 1,000 employees, and after the transaction it will increase its resources to 1,500 employees, constituting teams of internet advisors, experts and specialists in the field of online marketing. The company has offices in 17 locations in Poland and representative offices abroad: in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
