Both in 2023 and 20 years earlier, entrepreneurs using the EFL offer most often they leased passenger cars and delivery vans, however, there have been changes in subsequent places on the list of the most frequently leased fixed assets. Last year number two were heavy vehicles, while two decades earlier they were in fourth place. In turn, third place was taken by construction machines, which were sixth in 2003. EFL Leasing data also shows that less medical and catering equipment is currently leased – the report said.
“As our research shows, the vast majority of micro, small and medium-sized companies have a strong or rather positive assessment of Poland's 20 years in the European Union. As many as 71 percent of respondents responded in this way. (…) In 2003, leasing companies in Poland provided financing of fixed assets with a total value of PLN 10.5 billion. Over the course of two decades, this value increased almost tenfold and in 2023 it amounted to PLN 102.5 billion. Of course, our membership in the EU is not solely responsible for this dynamics, but it undoubtedly contributed to it bolder corporate investments. It turns out that not only the value of leased fixed assets has changed, but also their type,” said Radosław Woźniak, president of the management board of EFL.
