The new regulations are to facilitate the functioning of companies, especially small and medium -sized enterprises, including simplifying administrative procedures and reduce bureaucracy.
Controls in the company shortened from 12 to 6 days
– Today we will adopt a law prepared by the Minister Paszyk and the Ministry of Development. This is the first of the deregulation set. Very particularly small and medium entrepreneurs are waiting for this, e.g. shortening of planned checks from 12 to 6 days – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk, emphasizing that this is just one example of deregulation.
The head of government pointed out that the bill responds to the needs of business representatives, and work on it harmonize with the postulate of the social side. – some of these regulations also appeared in the demands of this group of entrepreneurs and experts who They prepare a deregulation package. It is good that in some cases the ministry even overtook these expectations – the prime minister added.
Shortening the control time in companies: How entrepreneurs will benefit
As part of the amendment, it is planned to shorten the duration of the inspection with micro-entrepreneurs to a maximum of 6 business days during the calendar year.
-Shortening the duration of the inspection is a huge relief for micro-entrepreneurs who often struggle with excess formalities. From an accounting perspective, a lower risk of excessive control means more time to focus on the development of activities, instead of being afraid of frequent visits of inspectors – says Beata Tęgowska, accounting and payroll expert at Systim.pl.
As the expert emphasizes, moreover, the control will also be adapted to the level of risk of violation of law, which means that the frequency of control will depend on how high the risk is associated with a given business activity.
And so, for example For companies with low risk, control will not be able to be carried out more than once every five years, and for medium risk – once every three years.
In the case of high risk, inspections will not have such restrictions. Entrepreneurs will be informed about the risk category assigned to them at the latest when the inspection begins.
Deregulation plans: a taxpayer less often punished
In addition, the government continues to work on a wide range of deregulation changes, including proposing, among others Introduction of the principle of presumption of the taxpayer’s innocence and reducing penalties for minor tax errors.
– The proposal to determine the risk category in the context of control is a step towards greater transparency and predictability, which for companies means greater certainty in planning business activities – believes the expert Systim.pl.
– The principle of the presumption of the taxpayer’s innocence reduces the risk of unjustified penalties in the case of minor errors. By introducing these changes, the government not only simplifies the system, but also gives entrepreneurs a sense of greater justice and legal security – emphasizes Beata Tęgowska.
The Prime Minister also announced further cooperation with representatives of all groups interested in deregulating the Polish economy. He reminded that on March 24, 2025, there would be a meeting summarizing the first stage of activities.
