A copy of KW via the Internet – on the website of the Ministry of Justice
The easiest way to download an electronic copy of the land and mortgage register online:
- Go to: Ekw.ms.gov.pl
- Click: “Land and mortgage registers”
- Enter the land and mortgage register number (in format, e.g. WA1M/00000000/0)
- Click “Download a copy” (you can choose ordinary or complete)
Attention: The service of browsing the content of the online book is free, but you have to pay for an official copy (pdf with an electronic signature).
How to get an official copy of the land and mortgage register online?
- Go to the website: Open the web browser and go to the website ECW.MS.gov.pl.
- On the main page, select “Submitting applications for a document from the central information of the land and mortgage registers. “
- Enter the full number of the land and mortgage registerconsisting of three parts: Court Department code, book number and control digit (e.g. WA1M/00000000/1).
- Select what document you want to get: ordinary copy, complete copy, extract from specific departments or certificate of closing the land and mortgage register.
- Select “for self -print“To receive a document in PDF format.
- Enter your e-mail addressto which the link to download the document will be sent.
- Order the order via the Przelewy24 system. Document fees include:
A copy of the land and mortgage register online – how much does it cost?
- PLN 20 for a regular copy,
- PLN 50 for a complete copy,
- PLN 5-20 per lift (depending on the number of departments),
- PLN 5 for a certificate of closing the land and mortgage register.
After making the payment, you will receive an e-mail with a link to download the document in PDF format. This document has a unique identifier that allows its verification and has official power. The service is available without logging into the system.
A copy from the land and mortgage register – how much is waiting?
Each downloaded document contains an identifier that allows it to be verified in the ECW system. The document is available for download immediately after payment. In the case of technical problems or questions about the service, you can use the user manual available on the ECW website or contact the central information of the land and mortgage register.
Copy of KW in the District Court – Department of Land and Mortgage Registers
If you prefer the paper version:
- Go to the Land and Mortgage Register Department of the District Court, which keeps a given book,
- Complete the application for a copy of the book (form available in court or online),
- Make a fee (the same as online),
- You will usually receive a copy the same day or after a few days.
Application for an excerpt from the land and mortgage register
To obtain an official copy of the land and mortgage register, you must submit an appropriate application for the central information of the land and mortgage register (CIK). This application can be downloaded in PDF or RTF format from the Ministry of Justicei. The completed application, along with the confirmation of the fee, can be submitted in person at the CIKW headquarters or in one of the branches at the district courts, or sent by post. The application for a copy of the land and mortgage register (KW-ODPiS) contains fields to be completed, such as:
- Type of the requested document (ordinary copy, complete copy, extract from a specific department, certificate of closing the book),
- land and mortgage register number,
- Applicant’s data (name, surname, address),
- address for service (if the document is to be sent by post).
Fees for issuing a document depend on its type and form of receipt. For example, You will pay PLN 30 for a regular land and mortgage register in paper formand in electronic form for self -print – PLN 20. Detailed information about the fees and methods of their payment can be found at GOV.pl
