An attractive loan to participate in the reconstruction of Ukraine
– For a month in Poland, the so -called Loan to participate in the reconstruction of Ukraine. These funds were transferred by the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy to Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. It is about PLN 250 million for companies registered in Poland, intended for various activities related to reconstruction – says Dariusz Szymczycha.
In his opinion, this solution is beneficial for entrepreneurs, because the interest rate is a maximum of 2 percent. – In addition, Kuke has prepared a new, innovative product for insurance companies registered in Poland, which will insure transport companies and their loads transported to Ukraine – explains Szymczycha. – This is a huge financial support. The European Commission considered this a form of public aid, and as much as EUR 1.5 billion was allocated to the belaying of road transport to Ukraine – adds the Vice President of the Polish -Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, which organized the 17th edition of BBF in Świnoujście.
Polish companies must go deeper into Ukraine
Polish entrepreneurs will be able to use loans if they cooperate with partners on the Ukrainian side. – If someone is looking for a suitable and reliable partner, the chamber can help him with this. We have two offices in Kiev and in Warsaw, as well as representative offices in various Polish cities and Ukraine. Our member companies currently have over 600 entities from both countries – he explains.
According to Szymczycha Poland will become a hub of the reconstruction of Ukraine. – This is where goods will be bought, hence they will be sent, warehouse centers will be created here. But you have to take another step – go deeper to Ukraine and create your own transport and storage bridges there. Polish private business is already doing this. However, it needs a bit more financial resources and -which is equally important -the favor of the Ukrainian regulator, because there are elements of protectionist policy -he says.
