Christmas is the perfect time to gather with our loved ones, celebrate the blessings we receive during the year and, especially, encourage solidarity actions in our community.

Historically, this spirit has inspired initiatives such as those of the United Nations General Assembly, which, in 2005, proclaimed the December 20th As the International Day of Human Solidarity. In an effort to celebrate unity, diversity and fight injustice, the UN reminds us all, from governments to individuals, of our responsibility to foster solidarity in our community.
