In a statement published on Thursday, March 26, 2026, the Ministry of Finance reminded that from April 1, 2026, the obligation to issue invoices In National e-Invoice System (KSeF) will embrace entrepreneurswhose sales value in 2024 did not exceed PLN 200 million. The exception applies to the smallest taxpayers – those whose monthly invoiced sales do not exceed PLN 10,000. PLN gross, will be covered by the system only from January 1, 2027.

KSeF is a tool used to issue, send, receive and store the so-called invoices structured. The obligation to collect them already exists from February 1, 2026. The second stage of implementation of the National e-Invoice System is ahead of us. We are very pleased that a large group of companies now issue invoices in the system voluntarily, even though they are not obliged to do so. Currently, it is over 306 thousand. companies. There are still a few days left until the obligation is implemented, so we encourage you to familiarize yourself with how the system works in advance – said Marcin Łoboda, deputy minister of finance and head of the National Tax Administration, quoted in the announcement.

KSeF: changing habits and invoicing processes

The Ministry of Finance emphasized that the implementation KSeF is intended to simplify document circulation and reduce paper documentation. The system archives automatically invoiceswhich is intended to speed up the daily work of enterprises and increase the security of economic transactions. KSeF involves changing habits and invoicing processes. We encourage you not to be afraid and try to use the system. You will quickly notice that KSeF is a real help for companies. To help entrepreneurs through this change, there will be no penalties for errors in using the system in 2026 – added the deputy minister.

The Ministry reminded that entrepreneurs can use free tools, such as the KSeF Taxpayer Application 2.0 and the mobile application, which enable, among others, issuing, receiving and viewing invoices, as well as managing contractor data and bank accounts.
