PGE: the supervisory board dismissed Lechosław Rojewski from the company's management board

The management board of PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna announced on Wednesday that on February 28, 2024, the company's supervisory board (Supervisory Board) adopted a resolution to dismiss Lechosław Rojewski, vice-president of the management board for finance, from the management board. The Supervisory Board did not indicate the reasons for the dismissal. Rojewski held this position from June 9, 2021.

February 7 this year the company also informed that the Supervisory Board adopted resolutions to dismiss from the company's management board: Wojciech Dąbrowski, president of the management board; Wanda Buk, vice-president of the management board for regulation; Rafał Włodarski, vice-president of the management board for support and development.

“In addition, on February 7, 2024, the Company's Supervisory Board adopted resolutions on delegating Members of the Supervisory Board: – Mr. Eryk Kosiński to temporarily perform the duties of a Member of the Company's Management Board for a period of 3 months and on entrusting him with the duties of the President of the Company's Management Board, – Ms. Małgorzata Banasik to temporarily perform the duties of a Member of the Company's Management Board for a period of 3 months,” it was added.

PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna is the largest electricity company and supplier of electricity and heat in Poland; supplies energy and heat to over 5.6 million customers. The PGE Group's generating units produce over 40 percent. electricity in Poland. PGE is a joint-stock company in which the State Treasury holds almost 61 percent of the shares.
