InPost will take over 70 percent. shares in Menzies Distribution Group

According to Sky News, the transaction is expected to be finalized this week. As part of this acquisition, InPost will gain 70 percent. shares in Menzies Distribution Groupthanks to which he will completely take over this British company, because in July last year he purchased 30 percent. shares in Menzies for over €58m (£49.3m).

When InPost acquired part of this British company in July, a clause in the contract guaranteed it the possibility of completely taking over Menzies over the next three years.

The takeover of Menzies Distribution Group by InPost would be another large takeover by Poles on the British market. At the beginning of September Polish company eSky bought one of the most popular tourist brands in the world – Thomas Cook. This is a famous British brand that has a huge customer base and generates £150 million in revenues annually.
