The official Tesla AI account on Platform X (formerly Twitter) posted on Thursday a roadmap with deadlines for implementing individual technologies related to autonomous driving.
The information shows that Tesla is in the process of obtaining permission from authorities in China and Europe to use autonomous driving systems. For Tesla, this is a very important step from the point of view of the company’s development and competitiveness, because obtaining the appropriate approvals will allow the company to maintain an advantage over Chinese rivals who are already working on similar systems.
From the June statement Elon Musk it appears that his company should obtain the necessary approvals for FSD technology by the end of the year.
