Żabka is considering beverage carbonation systems. New CO₂ services possible

The Forsal.pl editorial team asked a question about the plans Żabka network in the context of extending the service offer to include replacing or filling cartridges CO₂ for home carbonators. The response from the company’s press office shows that the network is working on the implementation and analyzing the possibility of expanding the offer with services related to beverage carbonation systems.

Possible new CO₂ services in stores

As the press office indicated in response, analyzes of available technological solutions are currently underway. Details regarding possible implementation, including the dates and rules of operation of the service, have not yet been determined.

Deposit system

The plans are in line with changes taking place on the market after the introduction from October 1, 2025. deposit system. The new regulations include, among others: plastic bottles up to 3 liters and metal cans up to 1 liter, for which the return amount is PLN 50, as well as reusable glass bottles up to 1.5 liters – with a deposit of PLN 1.
