Company bosses work longer hours than average employees
“The results of our study from the +Under the microscope+ series show that the approach of company managers to their working time is not clear and depends, among other things, on the size of the company they manage or the industry in which they operate. However, there is something that most managers have in common – working time. Almost half of those questioned work at least ten hours a day! This, in comparison with Eurostat data, which shows that Poles work on average 40.5 hours a week, shows that company bosses often work much more than their employees,” said Radosław Woźniak, president of the EFL management board, quoted in the report.
According to the report, 22 percent SME owners in Poland work 8 hours a day in an average 5-day working week.
