Filip Paszke indicates that The entrance to the Warsaw Stock Exchange was a natural stage in the company’s development.

It was the largest transaction for several years on the Polish capital market. I think that a company like Żabka is undoubtedly one of the champions of the Polish economy. The stock exchange is a natural place for companies like ours – indicates a representative of the Żabka Group.

The stock exchange motivates employees and managers

He also shared a wider view on the benefits of the stock market debut.

– Presence on the stock exchange allows us to attract talents and motivate employees through, for example, motivational programs based on the company’s shares. This is something that certainly distinguishes us as a large employer in Poland and shares the interests of the management and investors. The management of our company is also strongly motivated to achieve results – notes Filip Paszke.

After the stock market debut, our company successfully renegotiated the conditions of bank financing. In turn, in April and May 2025, the Żabka Group issued an issue of corporate bonds for the amount of PLN 1 billion.

Digitization and foreign expansion

When asked about the plans of the Żabka group for the nearest and slightly further future, her representative recalled the latest results.

Our annual report published in March this year, and the quarterly report of May 12 confirm that we are on the path of growth – indicates Filip Paszke. – Żabka records an increase in both the basic business area, i.e. network expansion, but also resulting from investing in other business segments – he adds.

He also talks about investments in digitization and foreign expansion – Żabka runs over 90 stores in Romania.

We associate high hopes for the development of this market and that in the future it will provide us with an extension of growth trajectory, which we have noticed in Poland for the last 20 years – says Filip Paszke.

When asked about the assessment of the situation on capital markets, the manager noticed that the Polish market is growing.

– This is associated with the gigantic rotation of assets from the United States to Europe. This, in turn, is the result of geopolitical events, e.g. Donald Trump’s presidency. Poland is a beneficiary of these changes. We observe the greatest economic growth in Central Europe. Poland as the largest country of the region naturally use it – says Filip Paszke.
